Chinese Peachbloom Glazed 'Garlic Head' Vase. Of pear-shaped body, resting on a tall spreading foot rising to a tapered neck with a garlic-head mouth, covered with a rich crimson-red glaze with pink sprinkles draining to a pale tone at the mouth, the white glazed base incised with a poem, the rim bound in a metal band. {Height 8.5 inches (21.5 cm)}. Condition: Fine glaze crackles and oxidation to the metal rim.
