WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE JARS, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, comprising one cylindrical-form example with flattened rim and incised shoulder ring, and one semi-ovoid form example with beaded neck ring. Each having brushed cobalt hoof-shaped design repeated to shoulder. Attributed to George and Albert Black, Somerfield, PA. Circa 1865. 8 1/4" H, 7 3/4" D rim and 8" H, 5" D rim.
