Chanel Tweed Jacket, 2000s  

After four decades at Chanel, Lagerfeld earned a legacy as a creative force that reinvigorated the heritage label, infusing it with postmodern playfulness while honoring its roots. Equally versed in the languages of popular culture and the craft and traditions of couture, a combination described as 'high fashion and high camp', Lagerfeld's reinvention of the brand and marketing savvy created a voracious appetite among young buyers, sealing the fate of the iconic double CC logo into this century's visual lexicon.  

This lot contains one jacket.  
Red, white, pink, and brown woven wool-blend jacket with trim around the crew neckline, center front button closure, the top of each pocket, and the hem of the jacket and sleeves. The center front is closed with wooden buttons stamped with "Chanel / Paris". The jacket is lined with silk featuring a woven floral design with the CC logo in the center of each flower. The interior hem of the jacket is embellished with a gold-tone chain.

Condition:  The overall condition is good with some minor pilling of the wool on the front trim and there is light wear visible in the lining under each arm.      Everything is sold 'As Is'.
