Description
Two Early Victorian Rosewood lap desks, second quarter 19th century, comprising a cut brass inlaid rosewood example and a Tunbridgeware mother-of-pearl inlaid figured walnut example, together with an early Victorian parcel ebonized rosewood inkstand.

Condition
Each with typical marks, wear, scuffs, surface scratches, age cracks, and losses throughout. Both lap desks are lacking some interior fittings. The rosewood lap desk with a full width age crack to the top, warping and movement to veneers. The inkstand with heavy loss of veneer and a break to the small turned handle. No glass ink bottles are present to any of the three examples.
