A SURREAL STYLE EARTHENWARE VESSEL, "Rooster Day and Night," CIRCA 1985, PROBABLY RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, GORDON MCVAY (American 20th Century), a painted, carved, glazed, and unglazed terracotta of double spouted ewer in the form of a red rooster at sunrise standing on a stump on one side, the verso with a rooster form weathervane atop a tin roof at night. Height: 34 1/2" Width: 26" Depth: 14"
