Description
The native tanned hide case with fringe is decorated in horizontal rows of sinew sewn stitches strung with various colors of glass beads. the case with scalloped upper edge and hanging thong was made to hold a fid-like wood tool of unknown use having nice toning and polish from native use.
Measures 5 inches long with out the fringe.
Provenance: A private inherited collection originating 40-plus years ago in Nebraska.
