a rare Benny Carter, some of his last work from 2014 before his untimely death by gunshot wound. At this time Benny was eager to create art and resorted to quicker drawings on paper to be productive. He had suffered a massive burn to the arm from a gasoline fire gone bad and most likely had stepped away from the paint brush for a period of time during these drawings. Very few exist. This auction is from 2 collections. Most of the folk art from the Bill Jones collection is environmental and was made to go outside. It will have normal wear see pictures. The Pottery came from one collection and is in great condition unless otherwise noted, however we do miss things so use the pictures as the ultimate guide.
