A KANGXI MARK FAMILLE NOIR RELIEF SNUFF BOTTLE
Chinese, 18th-19th century, porcelain. The warring scene of black ground with polychrome enameled relief decoration of a dignitary in chariot aside a fortified structure with armed warrior figures on mythical fire breathing beasts, horses, and elephants. The underside has a rust color four character Kangxi mark under a pale celadon glaze; later stopper and intact spoon.

The foot rim has a small chip and has been in-painted in the past, which is now fading. Slight enamel fading suitable for age.
