Description
A Rare pair of Tibetan Human bone carved beads with images of Citipati or two skeletal deities, one male and the other female, both dancing wildly. Typically such beads are worn on ceremonial aprons made from human bones beads and worn by the monks to remind them of the impermanence of life. The beads measure 4.5 inches long each. Provenance: Ex. Joseph Gerena Fine Arts, C. 1988, NY.
