Condition is consistent with age. There is craquelure and paint flecking throughout, with a concentrated loss of paint flecks on left figure. There is a lighter colored paint on top, above three right figures, possibly from a previous repair. The canvas is warping on top left and right corners, which can be fixed by re-stretching the frame. Four distinct areas of canvas repair visible on back, of which one does not seem to have been fully repaired on the front of canvas. The tear is slightly visible and no over paint (please refers to photo). Under black light, there are some different areas of in-painting, particularly in hip and sleeve of two right figures. This painting has a canvas tear in the shoulder of the boy in the blue/white colored shirt. Additionally, stretcher outlines are visible around border from age of canvas.
