Description
History of the One Hundred and Fiftieth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, Second Regiment, Bucktail Brigade (Philadelphia, 1905; inscribed and signed by the author to his nephew on the FFEP). In unusually good condition. Together with a photograph of the Gettysburg monument to the 150th Pa., a pamphlet from the dedication of that monument, newspaper clippings of reviews of the book, and a Civil War pass dated October 21st, 1863, issued to Major Thomas Chamberlin of the 150th Pennsylvania (and "one servant"). Also with Pictorial History of the Civil War in the United States of America, by Benson J. Lossing (Hartford, 1868; complete in three volumes), Personal Memoirs of U.S. Grant (New York, 1886; volume 2 only of two), and The American Conflict: a History of the Great Rebellion in the United States of America, 1860-'65, by Horace Greeley (Hartford, 1866; volume 2 only).
