A print on paper of plate 6 from Hogarth's copperplate engraving dated 1747 'The Industrious 'Prentice performing the Duty of a Christian.' with verse below; from the original copper engraving from the plate by Hogarth, restored by James Heath and published by Baldwin, Cradock & Joy, Paternoster Row, London, c.1822. a prosperous tradesman giving food to a beggar from the door of his house, while a drummer from a pipe and drum band asks for a donation at the window. 42 grams, 44 x 29 cm (17 1/4 x 11 3/8 in.).
