A pair of watercolour paintings, each mounted in a reveal and a glazed wooden frame: one painting depicting a richly-dressed and veiled woman standing at the entrance to a pavilion, three more similarly dressed women standing in the courtyard before her, a body of water running through the landscape beyond, birds flying through the dusky sky above; one watercolour showing a nobleman seated in a courtyard, being entertained by a female musician and dancer, a view from the courtyard to the hilly landscape beyond. 1.1 kg total, 25.3 x 21.5 cm; 24.5 x 22.3 cm (10 x 8 1/2 in.; 9 2/3 x 8 3/4 in.).
