Fine Chinese Soapstone Figure of a Buddhist Monk, on an Associated Soapstone or "Chicken Jade" Stand, 18th century. White stone seated monk with one knee up, cradling an alms bowl with both hands, raised on circular incised stand. Provenance: Ex collection of Dr. Horacio Fabrega, Pittsburgh, PA; Freeman's, 09/12/2010, Lot 389A. Size: 2.75'' x 2.75'' x 2'' (7 x 7 x 5 cm).
