Important documentation rescued from the Creek Chub factory basement in 1979. Includes a “Tally Book”, chronicling cash expenses from 1928 to 1932, a “Record of Stock Orders” with a large number of companies, jobbers and hardware stores listed, from 1959 to 1963, Creek Chub’s “Cash Drawer Balance Book” from 1961 to 1967, with employee’s names throughout. As expected, all have decades of wear, separations, loss and are very dirty. Also, two small 1937 expense books with minimal handwritten notes.
