Description
Vintage Alaskan "Raven" totem carving by Amos Wallace (1920-2004). Signed by artist and dated 1967. "The adventures of Raven were the inspiration for many Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian legends. Raven was thought to have supernatural powers, and was a trickster, benefactor of man, and guardian of the tribes". Small chip on bottom base corner (see photo). Great condition overall. Measures approximately L 2" x H 7" x W 2". Weighs 14 oz. This lot has a reserve price. (C107)
