Provenance: Property from the private Jian family collection. Chengrong Jian (1856-1936) was a tobacco merchant in the Jiangxi province and Fujian province. In the twenty-ninth year of Guangxu, he became a fourth rank official. He loved Chinese antiques, so he collected a lot of Chinese porcelain, ancient jade, bronze, and other antiques.
