A lot of WWII and Cold War era Russian Soviet propaganda posters. The lot includes posters, We Hurried to Astoria, And Got Into the History by Vladislav Kunnap; Sevastopol Stone by Matvey Mazrukho; Bent in an Arc by J. Efimovsky; a caricature poster, Brest is Too Tough. All posters from the Portfolio: Inmortal Feat, thirty two posters, published by Combat Pencil, Boevoi Karandash. Circa: 1950s. Provenance: from an exhibition, Leningrad Collective Propaganda artists. Each poster is marked and stamped in the print. Boevoi Karandash is a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters and collections of satirical drawings in the middle of the 20th century.
