Description
The poster depicts a white sheet with the inscription in cyrillic: "GENEVSKIYE SOGLASHENIYA PO INDIKITAYU" ["THE GENEVA AGREEMENTS ABOUT INDOCHINA"]. The sheet is torn in the center, a skull in a helmet with the letters "US" is visible in the gap, and a hand comes out of the gap with a torch setting fire to the document. The inscription in red letters is below: "Obuzdat' agressora!" ["To curb the aggressor!"]. The poster is dedicated to the political events that unfolded after the 1954 Geneva Conference.Created by the artist Vadim Volikov (1927-1989). There is an author's signature and a date lower left.
