Description
Asia Minor, Turkey, Anatolian, ca. 7th century BCE. A finely wrought solid cast bronze miniature idol depicting four contiguous figures standing side by side with characteristically abstract heads and bodies. Ancient Anatolia served as a geographical link between Europe and Asia, and Anatolians created some of the finest works from the Bronze Age with expert artistry and craftsmanship as we see in this example. Size: 1.25" W x 2.375" H (3.2 cm x 6 cm); 2.75" H (7 cm) on included custom stand.
