circa 1830
mahogany case with gilded rope frames, 8-day weight driven movement with fillester head screw mounting, finger latch click and alternate train, unsigned, movement inscribed "Cleaned by E. Taber, 1842 & Thos. Taber, 1856"
33 x 10 x 4 inches

Condition

Dial over-painted and now held with screws, glass tablets replaced, frames originally were mahogany, later ropes were added and then gilded, bottom board replaced, original iron weight, functions properly (15-minute test).
