Rare promotional piece, with historical content, concentrating on the Montclair district in the Oakland Hills, then as now one of the more desirable residential areas of Oakland, produced by the Realty Syndicate Company of Oakland. Of notable interest is the double-page "Map of Montclair showing the Properties that comprise this Beautiful Residential District," with the Montclair Estates, Montclair Acres, Smith Reserve, Piedmont Estates, etc., with a few bus lines and rail lines. OCLC lists only two copies, at the California Historical Society and the University of California Berkeley.
