Description

This Vintage 1920’s Cram’s Universal Terrestrial Globe 10.5/10 1/2 Inch No. 105 is in very good condition. It does have a couple of spots where the paper has come off (see photo) – it could stand some cleaning to brighten up the oceans. This globe was produced between 1924-28 based on the fact that in 1928 - Peiping changed to Peking. It has Peiping not Peking.
This wonderful Terrestrial Desk Globe is constructed with 12 color lithograph, coated paper goes over pasteboard. Raised on an offset central axis mounted on a round metal stand. The oceans are finished in turquoise with the International Date Line and trade routes, in statute miles, shown in red. This globe is an Antique piece, so expect appropriate wear for its age. There is some wear of paper missing (see photos)
