Description:
Waldorf Astoria Mahogany Phone Cabinet, according to the Duncan's the cabinet was purchased from the Waldorf Astoria Hotel when it was renovated in the 1920's. The cabinet with arched top and mirror above a shelf over a glass inset hinged door further over a sliding panel that reveals shelves on shaped feet. The interior of the shelf stamped 'Made for the American Bell Telephone Co and licensed to be used only with its telephones. Patented April 16th, 1878, January 9th, 1883, March 31st, 1891.'Measurements: Height: 6 ft. 10 1/2 in. x Width: 15 in. x Depth: 12 1/2 in.
