Victor Moscoso (b. 1936) Neon Rose #7 "The Only Alternative and His Other Possibilities" (1967) (1st Print). This poster is an original 1st print from Victor Moscoso's "Neon Rose" series in 1967. Measuring at 14 x 20. It appears to be in beautiful condition considering age (see images). The only thing we noticed was a few minor creases around the edges (we almost missed them because they're so small) but other than that it is almost perfect. This piece was created for The Matrix nightclub in San Francisco, California which is infamous for establishing the "San Francisco Sound" of rock music. Victor Moscoso is a Spanish born artist best known for being the father of psychedelic rock posters. He was the first to use photographic collage in many of his pieces which became a defining aesthetic later on. His posters are considered extremely rare as well as valuable (even 2nd & 3rd prints can be hard to find).
