A small Japanese lacquer stand 日本漆金时绘木架 Meiji to Taisho period 明治至大正
In two parts, the upper part with a pair of drawers with gold lacquered quail in a landscape, the top decorated a screen in a landscape; the lower section raised on cabriole legs, decorated with ho-o birds to the front, floral vines and spray motifs to all corners, beneath gilt brocade motif.
