Description
An antique late 19th-century Japanese Ginbari cloisonne enamel vase. Meiji period, 1868-1912. A large oxblood vase with a palm leaf underglaze design and white enamel peonies. Ginbari is a Japanese cloisonne technique when clear enamel is laid over a stippled silver layer applied to the copper sheet body. Collectible Oriental Home Decor Items.
