George III Mahogany Triple-Pedestal Dining Table

the rounded rectangular top with a kingwood banded and molded edge, opening to accommodate two 20-1/2" leaves, raised on three pedestals, each with a turned vasiform standard to four splayed and molded legs ending in brass paws on casters.

The extended table is very stable and solid exhibiting no movement in the top in use. The top is in overall very good condition, with a few light surface scratches. There are a couple areas that appear to have colored-in finish losses. There is a loss to the banded veneer at a perimeter edge of one leaf, about 1-1/2" long and 3/16" into the top. Normal minor scars to the legs from use. NOTE: This is a George III-style table from the late 20th century.
