After Giuseppe Castiglione (1829-1908): Palais Pavillons et Jardins Construits par Giuseppe Castiglione dans le Domaine Imperial du Yuan Ming Yuan au Palais d'Eté de Pekin: Eighteen Plates
Eighteen engravings on wove paper, 1977, unsigned.
All 21 x 35 in. (sight), 31 1/2 x 45 1/2 in. (frame).
Note: These prints were originally engraved from 1783-1786, after original drawings prepared by a group of Jesuits, and their Chinese assistants at the Imperial Court in Beijing. They portray the edifices, gardens and factories constructed from 1737-1766, for the Emperor Qianlong. The complete album contains twenty plates.

All with margins and apparently in very good condition. One examined out of frame with very pale mat staining. Others not examined out of frame.
