Western pulp novels and a pictorial of Native American Indians. "The Emigrant Trail", by Geraldine Bonner 1910, describes the cross country trek of a group of people in the year just before the Gold Rush started. Gold has been discovered in California, but the news hasn't managed to get back East yet. So the majority of the people along the emigrant trail at the time of our story are simply people hoping for a fresh start in life, either in Oregon or in California. "Montana Outlaw", by Tom Roan 1934. Roan is best known as the author of hundreds of stories published in the western pulp magazines from the late 1920's until the early 1950's. Lastly, the pictorial "Indians of America", by Lillian Davids Fazzini, 1935, is an accounting of major Indian tribes in a small 3"x5" field guide. It has 94 colour illustrations: portraits of chiefs, everyday life, native American paraphenalia, quirts, smoke signals, clothes, fetishes, et al. Forty-seven tribes listed in the index. Books are in good overall condition, covers are tight, some scuffing noted to cover edges, intact pages exhibit some normal age tanning. Respective measurements are 5"W x 7..75"L x 1.25"D, 5"W x 7.5"L x 1.25"D, 3.5"W x 5.5"L approximately
