Pair of large scale brass or bronze andirons, designed by Dorothy Draper for The Greenbrier Hotel, American, circa 1947. They are signed with a partial cast manufacturer's mark to the leg of one example "Greenbrier Hotel". Provenance: Collection of former employee of The Greenbrier Hotel, West Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Measurements: 41" H x 14" W x 32" D. Mid century, mid century modern, mid-century modern, 20th century, 20th century design, art deco. Orange Hat Auction does not provide in-house shipping. Condition

Very good original condition. Various surface scratches, dings, age and fire spotting and wear, commensurate with age and use as andirons. They retain their original distressed patina.
