Imperial Russian, ca. 1870-1890, Lukutin Factory barrel-shaped lacquer box with ribbed banding, black interior, black exterior, lid depicting a young peasant woman carrying pails of water over her shoulders, with Lukutin mark beneath the two-headed eagle of the Imperial Warrant on the underside of the lid, 2" H x 2 1/4" diameter.
