Description
An 18th century covered silver sugar urn in classical form with urn finial, finely engraved designs, beading, and reserve shield medallion with monogram. Signed twice on edge of base EB in oval cartouche (Ephraim Brasher 1744-1810 was an American silversmith, Revolutionary patriot, and neighbor of George Washington. He created the rare NY Brasher gold doubloon coin in 1787). Size: 9.5" tall, weighs 10.35 ozt. Excellent condition.
