Description
A lot of Russian and German sterling silver cutlery. A total of three items, two spoons and ladle. The handles of the spoons are decorated with engraved initials, hallmarks 84 Russian silver standard and makers marks are on the backside. One of the spoons is dated September 1, 1913 on the backside. The larger spoon is dated 1894, bears a St. Petersburg crossed anchors mark and the Cyrillic makers initials: AB. The ladle has a figurative handle, hallmark H. Wilkens & Sohne, 800 silver standard is on the backside. Total weight: 433 grams. Provenance: Anna Feltsman Estate. Feltsman family: Oscar Feltsman, 1921 to 2013, was a Russian composer of Jewish descent born in Odessa. He was the father of Vladimir Feltsman, born 1952, a Russian-American classical pianist. Anna Feltsman was the first wife of Vladimir Feltsman. Collectible Silverware Cutlery Tableware.
