Description
QUEEN VICTORIA ASSOCIATED OVERSIZED CUP AND SAUCER, comprising a set having red transfer thorny flowering branch sheet pattern with gilt-banded rim decoration, having green-printed crown with "COALPORT / A.D. 1750" to underside. Together with a framed identifying note stating "This is the original cup and saucer used by Her Majesty Queen Victoria..." when she visited Tantallon Castle (East Lothian, Scotland) in the early 1880s. Three pieces total. Coalport Porcelain Works, Shropshire, England. Circa 1880. Cup and saucer 4" HOA.
