Mike Hutson worked with Benny Carter at Halsteads in Madison, NC. They were both laid off at the same time ca. 1992 and Mike began painting the same time Benny did. He did not reach the same level of expert brush strokes like Benny did but he was a prolific painter and shared some of the same ideas as Benny with his paint technique. 10" x 7"
