TWO NEOLITHIC RED POTTERY JARS
Dawenkou Culture, 4300-2400 BCE
Both of ovoid outline with flaring necks, rounded shoulders with lug handles, and smaller single lug handle at the front of the vessels, both with flat bases, the smaller jar with a flattened back, both jars are made to be carried at the back.
5 1/2in (14cm) and 7in (17.8cm) high (2).
