A SCALLOPED FORM WHITE JADE SNUFF BOTTLE
Possibly imperial, 1750-1820
Of even white tone, of rectangular scalloped form with a cylindrical neck and a neatly carved rectangular footrim, very well-hollowed, the two main sides carved with raised archaic calligraphy, reading hua fu maoyan (thatched cottage surrounded by flowers) and keren ruyu (as delightful as jade); stopper.

Very good condition. The bottle has a beautiful, small, centered aperture, is well hollowed, and carved from an even, pale white stone.
