One page of Errata at the front. Previously re-bound, brown cloth-covered boards. Gilt lettering at the spine. Faint bumping at the spine and corners. Removed bookplate. Moderate to heavy toning, foxing, and dampstaining throughout internal pages.
Thomas D'Urfey (a.k.a. Tom Durfey; 1653-1723) was an English writer and wit. He is best remembered as the author of many of the songs in "The Beggar's Opera", though he wrote and published hundreds of pieces in his lifetime.
