5 Western Territory Legal Documents - Warrants, Requisitions, Stock, Etc.

A small archive of four legal documents and a stock certificate from the Western Territories of Dakota, Nevada, Colorado, and Wyoming. Varying in size, dating from 1866-1964. The documents are a mix of a purchase statement for military goods, two criminal warrants, a stock certificate, and a requisition for fuel. Several of the documents relate to Western forts such as Fort Buford and Fort Sedgwick. All with flattened folds and varying degrees of toning and soiling. Overall, very good.

Lot includes:
1. Military Supplies Purchase Statement. 3pp, Fort Buford, Dakota Territory, dated March 21, 1891. Bought of Leighton, Jordan and Hedderick General Dealers in Miliary & Indian Supplies, for the period of 1888-1891.
2. Arrest Warrant. 1p, Albany, New York, dated July 3, 1964. From the Governor of New York to the Governor of Nevada. Requesting the apprehension and deliverance of felon Paul S. Nimon to Buffalo Police Department detective Alfred F. McDonald. Nimon was charged with two counts of forgery in the second degree and one count of grand larceny in the first degree.
3. Criminal Warrant. 2pp, Johnson County, Wyoming, dated March 6, 1883. T.R. Adams accused Dan Brian of shooting him, with the intent to kill, at Big Horn on March 4, 1883. With docketing and multiple legal costs on verso.
4. Fuel Requisition. 1p, Fort Sedgwick, Colorado, dated November 1, 1866. A requisition form for fuel, made out by Captain John Mix of M Company, 2nd Regiment of U.S. Cavalry. A large quantity of wood was ordered, but no coal.
5. Stock Certificate. 1p, Carson City, Nevada, dated April 13, 1899. The Bullion & Exchange Bank agreement to buy and sell stocks for cash.
