Description
album containing five large vintage gelatin silver prints, each single mounted on heavy card boards with tissue guards, the cloth bound album with painted title ' Chislehurst 15th Decr 1902' each mount printed with photographer's name and address, album 36.5cm x 47cm, images typically 23cm x 28cm, with ephemera and photocopies relating to the postal worker injured in the crash. Note: On December 15th 1902 the French night mail train was wrecked at Chislehurst, injuring the sorting workers travelling on it.
