smaller example Possibly Qijia culture, circa 3000-2000 BCE, yellow-green to russet jade with dark brown inclusions throughout, 10 in. diameter and 10-1/4 in. diameter; with metal stands, dimensions on stands 12 x 10 x 2-1/2 in. and 12 x 10-1/4 x 2-1/2 in. [Asian Ceramics]
Note: Accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity from Gu Fang, Senior Fellow of the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), dated 6/25/10 attributing the smaller disc to the Qijia culture.
