Description
Pair of (2) original antique pot vessels. Produced in a primitive style. Large bulbous bodies with glazed chocolate brown grounds, having incised opposing Modernist abstract sigil designs, and encircling handle forms to top. No apparent signatures. From the Chicago estate of American gallerist and philanthropist Maria McCormick (1937-2021).
Dimensions: 15 X 13 X 13 in.
Condition: Good overall condition having normal to moderate surface wear, and area of loss to bottom rim. Estate fresh to the market.
