Isaak Levitan is a Russian artist, a master of the mood landscape. Isaac Levitan is an outstanding founder of landscape painting of the 19th century. Levitan stands out as a spiritual master creating a poetic image of nature, with its deep emotionality of color shades, which makes the viewer feel in the artist's picture the wonderful state of Russian nature. His works were very enthusiastically appreciated by his contemporaries, who considered the artist's paintings mood landscapes with surprisingly truthful authenticity.
