Description
George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950) British Irish playwright, author. Shaw wrote more than 60 plays during his lifetime and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1925. 3 ¼” x 5” autograph note signed, on the back of a post card photograph, London, October 3, 1924. “Great Heavens, don’t set the child collecting autographs – the most worthless and annoying of human pursuits – Give your unfortunate son a chance in life. Can’t you find some less devastating way of being a bad mother, if it is too much trouble to be a good one? I am surprised at you. G. Bernard Shaw.” There are three tape stains in the right margin.
