Africa.- Danckerts (Justus) Novissima et Perfectissima Africae descriptio, large vignette title of various African costume figures, lions and elephant, lower left, engraved map with early hand-colouring, platemark 500 x 590 mm (19 3/4 x 23 1/4 in), sheet 505 x 600 mm (20 x 23 3/4 in), toning and browning with patches of discolouration in the upper left, central vertical fold with minor splitting repaired to lower foot, surface dirt, unframed, Amsterdam, [circa 1700]; together with six further maps, including a good hand-coloured impression of Isaak Tirion's Kaart van het Zuidelykste gedeelte van Afrika of het Land der Hottentotten, an uncoloured impression of Chatelain's 'Coutumes Moeurs & Habillemensdes Peuples qui Habitent aux environs du Cap de Bonne Esperance', and four maps of Jamaica, with 3 variants of Bellin's 'Carte de L'Isle de La Jamaique', engravings, various sizes, all unframed, 18th century (7)
