Dissertation sur le Tabac, pirated edition, half-title, woodcut vignette to title and head-piece, old cloth-backed boards, rubbed, Paris & Liege, F.J.Desoer, 1787; and 4 others on tobacco including a mounted photograph of the Westminster Tobacco Box with its accompanying descriptive pamphlet, v.s. (6)

⁂ The first was first published in England in 1638 and contains information on the taking of mercury, on tobacco and opium, on gold boiled in broth as a cure for consumption, the use of unicorn horn, and an attack on William Harvey and his discovery of the circulation of the blood.
