Description

Circa 1850. Having been brilliantly carved with great details throughout. The back is delicately pierced and carved with tight acanthus details leading to nicely shaped and carved arms ending in eagle heads with orbs in the beaks continuing down to lower frame supported by four legs the front of which are acanthus carved and end in a well defined ball and claw foot. Good sturdy condition throughout. H37" W57" D23" Sold from the Estate of Dr. Carl Freeman of Conway, South Carolina to benefit the Horry County Museum.
