Description
The auction featuring items from the Saul Brandman Foundation. Pair of sculptures in painted wood fabrication, made by the Baule tribe. Region of origin: Côted'Ivoire, Africa. Each sculpture is in the form of a Colon figure, and each sculpture depicts a male figural wearing a uniform: one of the figures is wearing a blue uniform and a blue hat, and the otherfigure is wearing a yellow uniform and a red hat. The larger sculpture measures seventeen inches tall by five and one-half inches wide by three and one-half inches deep, and the smaller sculpture measures sixteen inches tall by five and one-halfinches wide by three and one-half inches deep.
