A Rare James Tubbs Silver Engraved Birthday Bow an excellent example of the craftsmanship from Legendar Bow Maker, James Tubbs (1835 â€“ 1921) of round stick, Silver Engraved Handle. This particular example is stamped & engraved, refered to as a "Birthday Bow" made in James Tubbs's 82nd Year of life.
The bow has been handled and examined by an expert and has been determined to be in good overall condition and playable state

Provenance:
Property of A Gentleman, Longstanding Expert and Member of The American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers, Entente Internationale des Luthiers et Archetiers, and the Violin Society of America.

The bow is being offered at a tremendous discount due to having been professionally wrapped on the neck near the head of the bow - Please see the high resolution photographs provided. The bow has been restored expertly.
